Terms of Service

1. Service Description

This website (the "Service") provides an AI-powered online portrait segmentation (background removal) tool. Users upload a photo, and the system automatically detects and removes the background, producing a transparent-background image for preview and download.

• The Service provides a free, watermarked, low-resolution preview so you can assess the processing result.
• Downloading the high-resolution, watermark-free original requires a valid unlock code.
• The Service relies on third-party APIs (remove.bg, DashScope) for image processing. Processing quality depends on those APIs' service levels.

2. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the uploaded photo or have obtained legal authorization to process and download it.
• You will not upload images containing illegal, pornographic, violent, terrorist, hate-speech, or otherwise objectionable content.
• You will not upload images that infringe upon others' portrait rights, privacy rights, copyrights, trademarks, or other legal rights.
• You will not use the Service for any activities that violate applicable laws and regulations.
• You will not reverse-engineer, attack, or abuse the Service (including but not limited to high-frequency batch requests, scraping, etc.).

3. Intellectual Property

• Original images: Users retain all rights to their uploaded images. The Service claims no ownership over user-uploaded content.
• Processed results: The intellectual property rights of output images follow the same ownership as the original images — they belong to the user.
• The Service itself: The website's code, interface design, logo, and related elements are the intellectual property of the Service and may not be copied or used without permission.
• AI models: The background-removal AI model is provided by remove.bg; related technical patents and algorithms belong to them. Crowd-removal AI is provided by Alibaba Cloud DashScope.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" basis, without any express or implied warranties:

• We do not guarantee that processing results will meet your expectations. Results depend on photo quality, resolution, subject-background distinction, and other factors.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, third-party API failures, or network issues.
• We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service (including but not limited to data loss or business interruption).
• The free monthly API quota is 50 calls for background removal. DashScope usage is billed per call by Alibaba Cloud.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, under the following circumstances:

• You violate any provision of these Terms of Service.
• Your uploaded content is deemed illegal, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.
• You abuse, attack, or place abnormal load on the Service.
• Termination is required by law or government order.
• Service termination is necessitated by operational changes, technical upgrades, or other business reasons.

Upon termination, all your data within the Service (including in-session images) will be immediately purged.

6. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Revised terms become effective immediately upon posting on this page. We recommend checking this page periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from the Service shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may bring the matter before the competent court in the jurisdiction where the Service operator is located.
